You might receive errors or MS Excel might abend when you use the IntelliSense IDE object browser in the VB IDE while running the 64-bit edition of Excel with SAS^® Financial Management 5.3 Management. If this problem occurs, try the following tasks:

1. Close Excel.
2. Change directory to the following:

   C:\Program Files\SASHome\x86\SASFinancialManagementAddinforMicrosoftExcel\5.3

3. Run the following command:

   C:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\regasm /tlb SASSESExcelAddIn.dll

Sometimes Excel caches a copy of the TLB file. If so, the problem will still occur after you perform the steps above. In this case, perform the following additional steps:

1. Open the form.
2. From Excel, press Alt+F11 to display the Development IDE.
3. From the menu select Tools ► References. Deselect SASSESExcelAddin and click OK.
4. Select Tools ► References.
5. Click Browse and navigate to the following location:

   C:\Program Files\SASHome\x86\SASFinancialManagementAddinforMicrosoftExcel\5.3.

6. Select SASSESExcelAddin.tlb and click OK.
7. Click Save form.

Performing the steps above should remove cached information from any TLB file.
